LET US MARCH FROM GREATNESS TO GLORY IN GUNTUR LOK SABHA CONSTITUENCY
My salutations to the voters!
- Hailing from an average farmer’s family, I have integrated and identified myself with the people of the Guntur Lok Sabha Constituency. In this context, I invite your attention to some important matters and seek your blessings. You reposed immense conf idence in me, and returned me to the Lok Sabha thrice in 1996, 1998 and 2004. It is a hatrick.
- I was elected to the Lok Sabha in the year 2004 with a huge margin of 1,29,253 votes. Living up to your expectations, I have been identifying myself with people and striving to solve their problems. I am always readily available and easily accessible to people at my residence and adjacent office in Lakshmipuram, Guntur. Anybody, whether in rags or fur coats, can see me. There is no protocol. I am at their beck and call. After presenting a performance report, which I am sure will win your admiration, I seek renewal of your mandate in this month’s general elections.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Due to my relentless efforts a Spices Park in a sprawling 124-acre area near Vankayalapadu Village, (Yedlapadu Mandal), is coming up. It will be a boon to the Chilli growers and the trade.
- The formation of a separate Guntur railway division , the subsequent facilities and amenities to the Public are a feather in my cap. The construction of New Guntur railway station, K.C. Canal - Guntur stretch doubling and electrification and diversion important Express trains Via Guntur deserve mention.
- Some 39 Slums have been improved and basic amenities provided with Rs. 29 Crore Central Government Funds.
- Massive housing programme near Chodavaram Village to benefit 1792 poor persons with Rs. 25 Crore Central Government Funds.
- Manipuram Railway over Bridge and Kankaragunta Railway over bridge in Guntur city to ease traffic congestion.
- Widening of the N.H 5. between Chilakaluripet and Vijayawada into Six lanes.
- Rs. 4 Crore Second pipe line to augment drinking water supply in Guntur city and Gorantla Village.
- To relieve traffic congestions in Guntur city, widening of Guntur – Gorantla High way into 4 lane and construction of outer Ring Road. (Stone land)
- Rs. 12 crore pipe line from Amaravati to Tadikonda Cross Roads to provide drinking water.
- Lift irrigation schemes irrigating thousands of acres in Rayapudi, Dharanikota, Tulluru and Ananthavaram villages.
- Harischandrapuram drinking water scheme serving Six villages.
